Aviation Security Team Co-Ordinator

Monday to Thurs 07:00-16:00

Friday 07:00-13:00

42hrs per week

Pay £37,500 annual

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

  • To develop collaborative working relationships with the Aviation security team
  • Monitor and ensure Training Matrix and Airport gateway are compliant with UK Aviation Security regulations.
  • Assisting with rostering and general administration on behalf of the Aviation management team.
  • Administration and Management of the Airport Gateway system in line with UK Aviation Security compliance requirements
  • Ensure that the site is managed to the agreed levels and standards required, reporting issues or concerns to the Aviation service delivery manager in a timely fashion.
  • As instructed and detailed by the Airbus UK Aviation Compliance Manager assist and support Aviation projects.
  • Complete all mandatory & required specialist training provided to meet the expectation of the role.
  • Monitor training requirements and records, identify and deliver training to officers in line with company standards as required
  • Create, Innovate and constantly drive improvement across the Aviation Security function providing specialist knowledge and industry best practice.
  • To implement and maintain training records for new and existing employees.
Essential Skills
  • Right to work in the UK, 5-year checkable history and pass a high level of security clearance.
  • Hold a current clean UK Driving License.
  • Willing to undergo a colour deficiency test at interview as must clearly define colours to interpret X-Ray.
  • Productively take instruction and carry out tasks thoroughly and consistently.
  • Good attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Willing to undergo any relevant training.
  • Proficient in Google packages and IT literate/ competent.
  • Demonstrate experience of excellent Team leadership & management skills.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations and work under pressure
  • Logical thinker with a meticulous attention for detail possibly in high pressure situations.
