Aviation Asset Management Graduate

The Technical Department is responsible for the asset management of AerCap's global aircraft fleet. This includes drafting and negotiating technical lease provisions, transferring aircraft and their records, and managing aircraft repossessions. The department also works to preserve the residual value of AerCap's aircraft, forecasts maintenance events to assess their impact on aircraft value, manages asset disposition, determines optimal lease extension periods, and identifies opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance.

Internally, the team collaborates closely with Deal Teams, Leasing, Legal (both Leasing and Corporate), Contracts, Portfolio Management, and Credit Risk. Externally, it engages with airline customers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
