Key Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain payment functionalities within our core banking system Avaloq

Develop and maintain interfaces between Avaloq and external payment systems, including anti-fraud screening systems and the Finastra payment gateway

Customize and extend standard modules for various payment systems and networks (eg SIC, SEPA, SWIFT (MT/MX formats, ISO20022), TARGET2/TIPS) to ensure high-quality delivery and adherence to technical standards

Foster strong relationships with internal and external counterparties to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution

Troubleshoot and resolve production payment issues, providing expert-level support to operations and service teams as needed

Support testing campaigns and production rollouts

Drive innovation and efficiency by integrating modern technologies, such as containerization, microservices, and cloud-native solutions, to enhance the payments domain's scalability, security, and performance

Collaborate with Avaloq developers to improve systems and processes continuously, promoting best practices and high-quality delivery
