Location: Adlington, Cheshire - Office-Based

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (30-minute lunch break)

Salary: £28,000 per annum + Benefits

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organised Automotive Parts Person to join our office support team in Adlington. In this role, you will manage day-to-day parts operations-sourcing, ordering, and tracking components to support our mobile technicians and meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Parts Sourcing: Correctly identify and supply automotive parts efficiently and accurately.
  • Ordering & Logistics: Order parts via online supplier portals, manage collections, and track lead times.
  • Stock Control: Organise the parts department inventory and efficiently process returns.
  • Technical Support: Assist mobile engineers out in the field with part identification for their scheduled jobs.
  • Customer Care: Handle incoming parts enquiries professionally and promptly via email.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Experience: Previous experience working within an automotive parts environment is essential.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of vehicle components and light commercial systems.
  • Tech Skills: Computer literate with proven experience using online parts ordering portals.
  • Attributes: Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
