The RoleAs an Automotive Electrician, you will play a key role in the assembly and installation of bespoke electrical systems on specialist vehicles and equipment.Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance while supporting production targets and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Install and modify customised vehicle-mounted electrical harnesses and control systems
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
- Support the build and commissioning of specialist vehicle systems
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy
- Complete relevant production and quality documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures
- Support additional production activities as required
What We're Looking ForEssential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience wiring vehicles to a high standard
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Flexible and adaptable approach to workload requirements
- Experience working with machine controls
- Experience within automotive, commercial vehicle, specialist vehicle, or manufacturing environments
- £16.00 - £17.00 per hour depending on experience
- Permanent, full-time position
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Early finish every Friday
