We seek a skilled and motivated Automotive Electrician to join our team.
This is a unique opportunity to work on iconic vehicles and contribute to the restoration of automotive masterpieces.
Job Summary:
The Automotive Electrician will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and fault-fixing the modern low-voltage system we put into our classic cars.
This role requires a deep understanding of automotive electrical principles, exceptional diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate would already have a passion for classic cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform modern electrical installations on a range of classic vehicles.
Diagnose and repair complex 12-volt electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, lighting, CAN, LIN, and accessory installations.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of
projects.
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and restoration techniques,
particularly in the 12V electrical field.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of restoration processes and quality
standards.
Requirements:
Be able to demonstrate your Automotive Electrician qualifications.
Demonstrate expertise in 12-volt automotive electrical systems and wiring.
Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, particularly with electrical systems.
Be able to use diagnostic equipment and tools.
Be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Have experience with soldering, crimping, and other wiring techniques.
Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
