Autism Support Worker (AP)

Role:

We are working with two large SEND schools in the Gateshead area who are seeking Autism Support Workers to support children in the classroom. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Autism by implementing tailored care plans and facilitating their development in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

As an Autism Support Worker, you will provide essential support to children with autism, implementing individualised care plans to foster their development and well-being.

There may be an element of personal care involved so you must be comfortable with this.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, no weekends or school holidays.

If you don't currently hold a fully enhanced DBS on the update service, you will need to apply for a fully enhanced DBS.
