Autism SEND Teaching Assistant

About the role: justteachers are supporting a primary school in Coventry to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with Autism. This is a full-time role with an Immediate start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a dedicated SEND team, excellent pastoral support and access to specialist training in Autism and communication strategies.

• Provide structured 1:1 SEND support
• Support communication and sensory needs
• Implement EHCP strategies
• Promote pupil independence and engagement

• Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
