Are you a qualified auditor (ACA / ACCA) ready to take the next step in your career? A fast-growing and dynamic firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisors is looking for an ambitious Senior Audit Manager to join their modern Manchester City Centre office. This role has arisen due to the continued growth and subsequent succession planning needs within the firm. The firm has a strong presence in the North West, working and advising with entrepreneurial, PE backed and ambitious OMBs and UK subsidiaries. This is an exciting opportunity to join this reputable accountancy firm during a period of sustained growth within their Manchester office.

As an Audit Senior Manager your new role will include:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients, supporting them through key stages of their business lifecycle
  • Oversee and mentor a team of auditors, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of engagements
  • Take a lead role in client meetings and file reviews
  • Collaborate with advisory teams to identify and drive cross-service opportunities
  • Foster a positive team culture and support the development of junior staff
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of the audit department alongside the Audit Partner

  • This Audit Senior Manager role is crucial to the succession planning of the Manchester office and as your reputation in the firm builds and your client base develops, there is the opportunity to progress through to RI and partner.

    What you'll need to succeed
    The firm are seeking a dynamic Chartered Accountant who has a proven track record working within the OMB market in an audit focussed role. You must be a personable and inspiring people leader, with a keen interest in driving culture and supporting with the firm's wider initiatives. This role offers excellent career prospects, so the firm are keen to secure an individual seeking a leadership role within a dynamic and fast paced growth environment.

The firm offers a competitive salary of up to circa £75000 DOE however RI's will gladly also be considered at a higher banding.
