Audit Partner

Our client, a highly regarded and ambitious Top 50 accountancy firm is seeking an Audit Partner (Responsible Individual) to join and help lead the continued growth of their Hertfordshire office.

This is a key strategic hire, offering the opportunity to play a central role in shaping and driving the continued growth of the General Practice.

They are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded "work winner" who can lead from the front, strengthen regional presence, and take this part of the practice forward in the years ahead.

Joining an established and collaborative leadership team, you will:

• Lead and grow the audit offering
• Take ownership of a varied portfolio across non-profit and SME/owner-managed businesses
• Drive business development activity and convert opportunities through strong networks and market credibility
• Champion exceptional audit quality and compliance standards
• Shape and execute regional growth strategy
• Act as a trusted adviser, building long-term, value-driven client relationships
• Support, develop and inspire high-performing teams

We are looking for a credible, energetic and ambitious leader who thrives on building strong local connections and growing a practice.

You will bring:

• Experience at Partner or senior RI Director level within a reputable firm (Top 30 background advantageous)
• Strong technical expertise in non-profit and SME/owner-managed business sectors (essential)
• Proven track record as a work winner, with demonstrable business development success
• Clear audit leadership capability and commitment to high-quality standards
• Established networks across Hertfordshire, or the ability to build them quickly
• A collaborative, entrepreneurial leadership style
• ACA qualification (or equivalent)

Experience within the hospitality sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
