Our client, a leading accountancy and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Audit Manager who's ready to take the next step into a Senior Manager position. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing team in a newly established Southampton office, with regular collaboration across their Poole location.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading and managing multiple audit engagements across a varied client base.

Building strong client relationships and understanding their business needs.

Overseeing and mentoring audit teams, ensuring technical excellence and quality delivery.

Supporting business development through proposals, tenders, and client pitches.

Championing new technologies and efficient audit practices.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Several years as an Audit Manager, confident managing a diverse portfolio and reporting directly to an RI.

Background: Ideally from a mid-tier firm, used to juggling multiple audits rather than focusing on a few large corporates.

Leadership: A natural team leader who empowers others and makes informed decisions.

Technical Strength: Strong knowledge of IFRS, group audits, and complex audit scenarios (e.g. acquisitions, restructures).

Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent - qualified by experience will also be considered.
