As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will spearhead statutory audit assignments for various limited companies, assuming accountability for the file prior to review by the Director.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies.
  • Conducting audits of accounts in compliance with ISAs.
  • Collaborating with clients to ensure adherence to accounting standards.
  • Crafting corporation tax computations, encompassing tax item analysis.
  • Nurturing the development of trainees by providing clear guidance and addressing knowledge gaps.
  • Directly supporting Client Managers and Directors in dispensing technical expertise.
  • Staying abreast of legislative alterations.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant with audit and accounts proficiency.
  • Prior experience within a practice environment.
  • UK company audit expertise.
  • Competence in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Background in a corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with SAGE, Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow.
  • Exposure to audit automation software or similar platforms.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proactive approach to service enhancement and knowledge sharing.
  • Aptitude for initiative and problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in establishing rapport and managing professional client relationships.
  • Demonstrated organizational prowess and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with adeptness at building relationships.
  • Salary circa £40,000 - £47,500 depending on experience and qualification status.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holiday.
