Auction Coordinator (Mandarin Speaking, £32k, Auction House, London)

Facilitate auctions and support the auction process within a London-based auction house, engaging with clients and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of events.

• Extensive field experience in auction, trade, or relevant institution.
• Thorough understanding of Asian art marketing, particularly Chinese art, with experience using channels such as WeChat.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Solid understanding of Chinese culture, ideally from residing and working in the PRC or ROC.
• Outstanding time management, organisational, and administrative skills, with capacity to meet auction deadlines.
• Experience managing long term and short term projects of all sizes; ability to plan diverse concurrent projects.
• Proficient in MS365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Excellent follow up skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to thrive in a high paced team environment.
• Positive attitude, inquisitive mind, and eagerness to actively seek new duties and opportunities.
