We are seeking an Attendance Administrator / Family Liaison & Receptionist to support pupils, families, and staff across the school. This varied role combines attendance monitoring, family liaison, and part time reception duties.

You will promote good attendance and punctuality, work with families to reduce barriers to school, liaise with staff and external agencies, maintain accurate records, and provide a professional front of house service on designated reception days.

Reception duties form part of the role on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. onwards and all day on Thursdays.

The Opportunity
  • Monitor and track attendance daily, ensuring registers and pupil records are accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with the Welfare Manager, staff, and families to identify attendance concerns and support follow up actions.
  • Build positive relationships with parents/carers and liaise with external agencies where needed to support attendance and welfare.
  • Provide reception cover, manage enquiries and visitors professionally, and maintain secure safeguarding procedures.
What We Are Looking For
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident and sensitive when interacting with families, staff, and external professionals.
  • A calm, professional, and approachable demeanour, able to manage competing priorities in a busy school office.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and supporting every child to thrive.

Experience of attendance administration, school systems, reception work, or family liaison would be an advantage.

Why Penn Hall?
  • A rewarding role supporting attendance, wellbeing, and family engagement.
  • A supportive and collaborative staff team.
  • Opportunities for training and professional development.
  • The chance to make a genuine difference to pupils and families every day.
