Job Description
Position 
Associate - Upstream Oil & Gas (Transactional) - London
Key Requirements- England & Wales qualified lawyer with 4-6 years post qualification experience.
- Strong grounding in upstream oil and gas transactions gained in private practice or in house.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating a range of core upstream agreements, including:
- Concession agreements
- Production sharing contracts (PSCs)
- EPCCs
- EPSAs
- Royalty regimes and risk based service contracts
- Joint Operating Agreements (JOAs)
- Farm in / farm out agreements
- Unitisation agreements
- Lifting agreements and gas sales agreements
- Crude oil and gas transportation agreements
- Act as a key support to partners on complex upstream transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Take a lead role in drafting and negotiating transaction documentation.
- Manage discrete workstreams with increasing autonomy.
- Work closely with clients.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management.
