Associate Structural Engineer

Overview

Access Talent Group is currently working with an International based consultancy who are looking to bring in an Associate Structural Engineer to their team in Milton Keynes.

In this role you will work in a local team of 10 and a national team of 230, collaborating across offices on projects ranging from aviation, distribution, residential and commercial units, valued between £100k and £200m. You will run projects and manage a graduate engineer and a technician, with responsibility for budgeting and invoicing - the natural next step in your career.

Responsibilities

• Lead project activities for structural design in various sectors (aviation, distribution, residential, commercial) with emphasis on steel designs.
• Manage project budgets and invoicing.
• Mentor a graduate engineer and technician.
• Collaborate across the national team and local offices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience mentoring and managing invoicing.
• Chartered with ICE or IStructE.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Live within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes.
• Heavy experience using steel designs.
