Associate, Quality Services, Amazon Quality Services

Quality Services (QS) organization provides testing support for Devices, Retail, and AWS products. The primary objective of QS is to provide manual testing support. An Associate, Quality Services performs manual test execution according to documented instructions, producing accurate results that meet daily targets and adhere to defined processes.

Key job responsibilities
  • Execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on the Kindle platform and Kindle software products.
  • Perform test case execution and report bugs accurately.
  • Understand testing procedures and guidelines for new builds/releases.
  • Perform regression and repetitive testing exercises to qualify builds without compromising quality.
  • Use software tools for data capture daily.
  • Capture results, communicate and escalate failures, and provide individual status reports.

The QS organization supports testing for Devices, Retail, and AWS products. The Associate performs manual test execution of documented instructions, ensuring accurate results and meeting targets.

About the team

QS is a 1000+ member organization providing manual testing services for a wide range of Amazon products, operating out of Chennai, India, and Arlington, VA. Services include regression testing, new feature testing, accessibility testing using a diverse workforce, localization testing for international markets, and interoperability testing across 1P/3P devices.

We support over 65 product teams, including Amazon Devices (Alexa, Ring, etc.), Consumer apps and services (Audible, Delivery Apps, etc.), AWS (WorkDocs, Chime), Advertising Engineering (Kindle Special Offer, IMDb TV), and Amazon Video and Studios.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Understanding of software testing
  • Ability to complete tasks accurately and promptly
