Apply today!# Job Details Job Title: Associate Operator, Warehouse Operations Location: Various Locations Work Pattern: Full Time Summary of Role We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Despatch Operative to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will support the efficient despatch of customer orders by palletising, wrapping, and preparing goods for delivery. You will play an important part in ensuring products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer service within a healthcare distribution environment. Responsibilities Palletise customer orders accurately and efficiently for despatch. Wrap and secure pallets to ensure safe transportation. Prepare shipment areas and packaging materials for outbound activity. Update warehouse transactions and shipment documentation accurately. Monitor and handle temperature-sensitive products in line with required procedures. Identify and report damaged, non-conforming, or on-hold stock. Coordinate the movement of materials using approved warehouse equipment. Escalate inventory, stock, or despatch issues to the appropriate team members. Skills and Knowledge Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow procedures and work instructions consistently. Basic IT skills for warehouse and inventory systems. Understanding of health and safety requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Previous experience in a despatch, warehouse, or logistics role. Experience palletising and wrapping goods for transport. Familiarity with warehouse management systems. Knowledge of stock control and inventory processes. Experience handling temperature-sensitive products. Understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards. Experience operating warehouse equipment. Opportunity to work within an essential healthcare supply chain High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements.Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials.Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations.Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements.Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools.Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions.Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs.Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action.Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities.Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy.Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
