About the programme

The Future Leader Trainee Programme is designed for individuals who want to build broad commercial and operational experience, whether they are entering a new field, developing their career, or looking to apply transferable skills in a new environment. Over two years, trainees will complete four structured 6 month rotations across areas such as Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and Support Functions.

At the end of the programme, trainees will be eligible to apply for a permanent role aligned to their strengths and performance.

What you'll be doing During each rotation
  • Contribute to day-to-day operations within your placement team
  • Deliver defined projects that support business improvement and efficiency
  • Analyse data, identify trends and present insights to managers
  • Build strong working relationships across teams and sites
  • Participate in team meetings, reviews and problem-solving activities
  • Relocate or travel to different UK (or European) sites as required
  • Engage fully in learning, coaching and development activities
  • Present progress updates and project outcomes to senior stakeholders
  • Take ownership of your personal development and performance goalsRepresent the programme positively across the business
What we're looking for You'll bring:
  • Experience working in a practical, hands on environment
  • Evidence of effective teamwork
  • Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills (e.g., SHL management norm)
  • IT literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to travel and relocate for placements
  • A proactive, ambitious approach to learning
  • Understanding of packaging or manufacturing processes
  • Experience analysing data or supporting improvement projects
  • Exposure to commercial or operational environments (Sales, Supply Chain, Production)
