Attorneys gain deep exposure to complex deals, cutting edge technologies, and collaborative, cross disciplinary problem solving in a dynamic sector.
Job Description- Draft, negotiate, and review intellectual property transaction agreements, particularly in the life sciences sector.
- Provide legal counsel on licensing, collaboration, and joint venture agreements.
- Conduct due diligence on intellectual property matters in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Work closely with clients to identify and address intellectual property risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide comprehensive legal support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in the life sciences and intellectual property fields.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage and mentor junior team members as needed.

The Successful ApplicantA successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Expertise in intellectual property transactions within the life sciences sector.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $310000 to $365000, based on JD year and other relevant factors.
