A highly regarded private residential interior design studio based in West London is seeking an Associate Interior Designer to join its senior leadership team. The studio works on a carefully curated portfolio of exceptional, high-value residences, delivering timeless, bespoke interiors to a discerning international clientele.

This role is suited to an experienced designer with strong judgment, composure, and commercial insight, who is comfortable leading multiple projects and guiding teams with confidence and discretion.

The Role

The Associate Interior Designer will take responsibility for the strategic and creative oversight of several residential projects, acting as a trusted lead for clients, consultants, and internal teams. The position requires a considered, hands on approach to project delivery, team leadership, and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior design leadership across multiple private residential projects from concept through completion
  • Maintain overall responsibility for design integrity, quality, and delivery
  • Act as a principal point of contact for clients, professional teams, and suppliers
  • Lead, support, and mentor senior, mid weight, and junior designers, setting clear expectations and standards
  • Oversee programmes, budgets, and procurement with strong commercial awareness
  • Ensure all drawings, specifications, and presentations reflect the studio's design ethos and attention to detail
  • Manage workflow and resourcing in collaboration with studio leadership
  • Uphold discretion, professionalism, and consistency across all client interactions
About You
  • Extensive experience within high end or super prime residential interiors
  • Currently operating at Senior or Associate level, with proven leadership capability
  • Confident managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of luxury materials, bespoke furniture, and craftsmanship
  • Commercially astute, with experience overseeing fees, budgets, and supplier relationships
  • Calm, measured, and highly organised
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presence
  • UK work eligibility is essential. No sponsorship will be offered.
