Role Purpose

Key Accountabilities
1. Operational Leadership & Team Management
- Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction, performance management, and professional development to the logistics project service team members
- Resource Management: Optimize team resource allocation, manage workload distribution, and ensure adequate staffing levels across logistics project service team to meet project demands
- Process Excellence: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes, enhance service delivery efficiency, and implement best practices across operations
- Cross Functional Coordination: Facilitate seamless collaboration between logistics team and other business functions to ensure on time, quality project delivery
- Knowledge Development: Ensure comprehensive team training on current procedures, international regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
- Issue Resolution: Take full accountability for escalations and investigations from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as primary expert for Global Project Management and external clients, providing training, guidance, and best practice recommendations
- Vendor Performance Management: Oversee all third party logistics providers and outsourced supply chain operations vendors to ensure seamless end to end supply chain execution
- KPI Development & Monitoring: Establish, track, and optimize Key Performance Indicators for service quality, delivery performance, cost efficiency, compliance adherence, and customer satisfaction across all vendor relationships
- Contract Management: Negotiate, implement, and actively manage service level agreements (SLAs) with all outsourced partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Operational Excellence: Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, and capability evaluations to drive process optimization and maintain service standards
- Risk Mitigation: Develop comprehensive risk management strategies and contingency plans to ensure business continuity across the entire vendor network
- Vendor Development: Work proactively with vendors to identify improvement opportunities and implement performance enhancement initiatives
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all international shipments comply with customs regulations, import and export requirements, and documentation requirements for both origin and destination countries
- Documentation Management: Oversee preparation, accuracy, and timely submission of all import and export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and other documents as needed.
- Cross Border Coordination: Manage complex cross border logistics for electronic devices and ancillary items, ensuring smooth customs clearance and delivery
- Compliance Monitoring: Maintain current knowledge of changing international trade regulations and implement necessary process adjustments to ensure ongoing uninterrupted project delivery
- Demand Planning: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive demand forecasting processes in collaboration with various stakeholders
- Supply Chain Planning: Drive strategic planning initiatives to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain efficiency
- Scenario Planning: Develop and maintain contingency plans for various demand scenarios, supply disruptions, and market changes
- Cross Functional Planning Coordination: Work closely with various stakeholders and finance teams to align supply chain plans with business objectives and project timelines
- Planning Process Optimization: Continuously improve forecasting accuracy and planning processes through data analysis, technology implementation, and best practice adoption
- Performance Optimization: Monitor customer service metrics, operational KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chain operations
- Budget Management: Support budget planning, cost management, and profitability optimization within supply chain operations while maintaining service excellence
- Standards Development: Establish and maintain performance standards for both internal teams and external vendor operations, ensuring consistent service delivery
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex technical, operational, and logistical challenges across the global supply chain network
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to long term supply chain strategy development, including technology adoption, process improvements, and market expansion initiatives
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high performing global teams of 10+ members
- Advanced cross functional collaboration skills with proven ability to influence and work effectively across all organizational levels
- Cultural competency and ability to operate effectively across global time zones and diverse cultures
- Experience managing both direct reports and vendor relationships simultaneously
- Extensive experience in fast paced, customer focused service environments with measurable service level achievements
- Advanced customer service issue investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution expertise
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage competing customer demands while maintaining service excellence
- Demonstrated "can do" attitude with strong team orientation and customer advocacy mindset
- Substantial experience in process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and computer systems management
- Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple complex initiatives effectively
- Experience with performance management systems and KPI development/monitoring
- Proven experience in demand forecasting, capacity planning, and supply chain planning processes
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market trends, historical data, and business projections
- Experience with planning software, forecasting tools, and data analysis platforms
- Understanding of statistical forecasting methods and planning best practices
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate adaptive, solution based work culture and drive change management initiatives
- Advanced technical issue resolution capabilities with experience managing complex, multi stakeholder problems
- Strategic thinking ability to align supply chain operations with long term corporate objectives and market dynamics
- Specific experience in supply chain management and regulatory requirements
- Hands on experience in import/export of electronic devices
- Comprehensive risk management knowledge and practical experience addressing supply chain challenges
- Direct warehouse environment experience and understanding of distribution operations
- Proven track record operating successfully in global marketplace with multiple regulatory jurisdictions
- Experience with supply chain technology implementation and system optimization
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience
