Connect to your opportunity We are seeking to hire experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Solution Architect within Deloitte's Engineering, AI & Data service offering. As part of our Data & Information Excellence capability, you will work with clients, vendor partners, and Deloitte teams from across the Firm to design and deliver enterprise-grade MDM solutions that unlock the value of trusted, well-governed data.
You will collaborate with a broad range of international and industry-leading clients who are navigating rapidly evolving digital ecosystems where high-quality master data is critical for operational efficiency, customer experience, regulatory compliance, and analytics-driven decision-making. You will bring deep expertise in data management and enterprise architecture and will be able to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Your role As an MDM Solution Architect, you will solve clients' most complex data challenges by designing, delivering, and operationalising robust MDM and data governance solutions. In this role, you may be expected to:

Your role As an MDM Solution Architect, you will solve clients' most complex data challenges by designing, delivering, and operationalising robust MDM and data governance solutions. In this role, you may be expected to:
- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership to define enterprise data strategies, MDM operating models, and data governance frameworks aligned with business outcomes.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise MDM platforms, including data modelling, data quality rules, matching & merging logic, hierarchy management, workflow configuration, and system integration.
- Oversee the end-to-end operationalisation of MDM ecosystems, ensuring scalability, performance, data stewardship adoption, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay at the forefront of MDM and Data Management best practices, actively evaluating industry tools, vendor capabilities, and architectural patterns to drive innovation in client solutions.
- Guide and mentor cross-functional data teams, promoting reusable assets, strong data governance practices, and delivery excellence across engagements.
- Lead the technical solution for MDM proposals and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses considering requirements, client tech landscape, delivery risk & cost etc.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Information Management.
- Extensive experience designing, delivering, and operating enterprise MDM solutions, including stewardship models, workflow management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Deep domain experience in implementing MDM within regulated or data-rich industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, public sector).
- Proven track record of leading architecture teams, influencing data strategy, and driving adoption of enterprise data standards.
- Experience in of critical regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, and industry-specific compliance standards.
- Certifications in major MDM or data management platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM/IDMC, Reltio, Semarchy, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere) and cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of non-MDM alternatives that deliver overlapping capabilities, including outsourced identity resolution, MarTech/CDPs, Reference Data Management highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a consulting role, working with diverse clients and project scopes across multiple industries is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the end-to-end design and deployment of complex MDM solutions, including integration with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, data lakes, microservices).
- Expert knowledge of MDM architecture patterns, including registry, consolidation, coexistence, and centralised models.
- Data modelling (conceptual, logical, canonical models)
- Data quality frameworks (profiling, cleansing, validation rules)
- Matching & survivorship logic, entity resolution, hierarchy management
- Metadata management, reference data management, and stewardship workflows
- Strong proficiency with cloud-native data services (Azure Purview/ADF, AWS Glue/Lake Formation, GCP DataPlex) and modern integration technologies (APIs, streaming, ETL/ELT).
- Solid understanding of data governance, data lineage, security practices, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience working with large-scale data storage and processing technologies (SQL, Spark, NoSQL, ETL/ELT tools).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the proven ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable, business-friendly insights.
