A leading and forward-thinking multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced and ambitious Associate Director - Structural Engineering to join their expanding team.

This is a standout opportunity for a high-calibre structural engineer to step into a senior leadership position, influence strategic growth, and deliver complex, high-profile projects across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the structural engineering delivery across multiple projects, ensuring technical excellence, quality, and commercial performance
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a growing team of engineers
• Carry out detailed structural design and analysis using industry-standard software such as TEKLA Tedds, TSD, and SAP2000
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to meet project objectives and maintain strong relationships
• Oversee the preparation and review of technical reports, specifications, and calculations
• Contribute to business development activities and support the wider strategic growth of the structural team

About you:

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered (MICE or MIStructE) or working towards chartered status
• A minimum of 5 years' UK consultancy experience with a proven ability to manage and deliver complex structural engineering projects
• Strong technical background in structural design and a solid understanding of relevant UK design codes and standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
• Commercially aware, with the ability to manage project budgets and timelines effectively
