Associate Director - Product Manager, Content Management

The Role: We are seeking for an Associate Director in London who will join the S&P Global Energy Digital Platform team to discover, partner, design, implement and execute our technology and business strategy to support and evolve our content management systems.

The Team: The S&P Global Energy Digital Platform Team is a creative, agile group of experts who collaborate with commodity vertical product managers to drive innovation and evolution in digital platforms, mobile platforms, machine delivery mechanisms, and user experience. As a crucial link between internal customers and Technology, the team ensures that "Ideation to Execution" product workflows is carried out effectively and consistently.

The Impact: As a leader of the Content Management Platforms team, you will shape your team's vision, goals, and priorities. Your role involves:

• Being a key partner to internal users.
• Influencing their operations.
• Facilitating the delivery of value to customers.

Operating across organizational levels, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our products, teams, and the organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving strategic objectives and driving innovation in our product offerings.

• Develop and communicate a clear execution vision for the product in collaboration with Editorial and Research, Technology, Business Operations, and Data teams, matching execution to the strategic vision.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on the roadmap and project go live.
• Develop, maintain, and streamline the functional architecture of Content Management Platforms and related tools.
• Drive innovation for maximum operational efficiency.
• Identify and manage risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies, and escalate as necessary.
• Possibly build a global team of digital product managers.

• Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to coach and mentor product managers.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas effectively, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Track record of driving transformation, defining and implementing operating models, and strategic alignment.
• Proven ability to allocate resources effectively, manage risk, monitor performance, and ensure governance.
• Experience in portfolio management, project management, or a related field.
• Proven ability to build senior level relationships, lead cross functional teams, and influence decision making.
• Significant experience working within a product organization, understanding common product lingo and product development cycles, and bridging knowledge gaps between technical and non technical teams.
• Previous experience in editorial/content workflows is preferred.
