A well-established, forward-thinking property consultancy with a strong foothold in the public and commercial sectors is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their growing team in West London. With a focus on estates strategy, capital delivery, and long-term asset improvement programmes, this is a leadership role offering a blend of project delivery, client engagement, and team development.

The Associate Director will take responsibility for overseeing multiple projects across the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors, ensuring robust cost management, driving value, and maintaining excellent client relationships. The Associate Director position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced consultancy environment, is commercially sharp, and enjoys mentoring junior surveyors while also remaining hands on with project delivery.

Associate Director - Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver cost consultancy services across a range of capital projects
  • Lead pre and post contract duties including cost planning, tendering, and final accounts
  • Drive procurement strategy and provide commercial guidance to clients
  • Manage client relationships and support business development efforts
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members
  • Ensure projects are delivered to high standards, on time and within budget
Associate Director - Candidate Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • MRICS status essential
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a consultancy
  • Broad sector experience including education, healthcare (essential), or commercial preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen and confident client communication
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams and delivering multiple concurrent projects
