Associate Director - BPA Origination

Are you a qualified life/pensions actuary (or CFA-qualified) with a strong understanding of bulk annuity transactions, looking for your next key position within a major international business?

Then look no further! This is an exceptional opportunity to support the oversight of origination and delivery of new bulk annuity and other de-risking opportunities.

Responsibilities

In this highly visible role, you will oversee the structuring of transactions, developing a strong understanding of our client's novel bulk annuity transaction structures, reinsurance solutions, and new product lines. You will have detailed understanding of BPA propositions and Solvency UK financial metrics, and you will demonstrate excellent project and people management skills.

Key activities include overseeing origination and delivery of de-risking opportunities, transaction structuring, and contributing to the development of innovative products and reinsurance solutions.

Qualifications

• Qualified life actuary (or CFA-qualified) with strong knowledge of bulk annuity transactions
• Excellent project and people management skills
• Knowledge of BPA propositions and Solvency UK financial metrics
• Knowledge of alternative de-risking, capital, and reinsurance structures would be helpful
• Pensions investment expertise and extensive DB experience are advantageous
• Solvency II reporting experience is desirable for the role

• London / hybrid 2-3 days in the office
