Dudley Council is seeking an experienced and commercially minded property leader to join its senior leadership team in a new, high-profile role supporting the borough's improvement and regeneration agenda.
You will oversee the Council's property portfolio and lead services spanning acquisitions, disposals, new-build development, capital projects, compliance, construction, disabled facilities grants and facilities management. Working across the organisation, you will ensure services are safe, sustainable, efficient and focused on delivering better outcomes for residents.
This is an exciting time to join Dudley. Our new Corporate Estate Management Strategy will guide future decisions about our assets, while major developments in Dudley Town Centre demonstrate the borough's momentum and potential.
We are looking for a politically astute and influential senior leader with substantial experience in property, construction, compliance or related services. You will bring a strong track record of delivering major capital programmes, leading transformation and improving complex services.
