Job Description
Global Banking & Markets Scotiabank (Ireland) Dublin

Join Scotiabank's Global Banking & Markets team in Ireland as an Associate in Corporate Banking. This role offers hands on exposure to complex transactions, senior stakeholders, and a broad suite of global banking products within a high performing, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality credit proposals, annual reviews, and financial analysis.
  • Identify lending and cross sell opportunities across Scotiabank's product platform.
  • Manage transactions end to end, liaising with Risk, Legal, and Operations.
  • Support coverage of a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring compliance and monitoring.
  • Partner effectively with Global Risk Management and internal product teams.
  • Contribute to client pitches and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, timely outputs.
  • Operate in line with the Bank's risk appetite, policies, and regulatory standards.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience in Corporate Banking, Credit Analysis, or a related financial services role.
  • Strong financial accounting knowledge and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • A university degree (CFA or CA qualification encouraged but not required).
  • Fluency in English; Spanish and/or French is an advantage.
  • A proactive, team oriented mindset with strong learning agility.
