We are retained by a well established, multidisciplinary architecture practice with a strong Dublin presence and a growing footprint across Ireland and the UK, to appoint an Associate / Associate Director to their residential team.

This is a career defining appointment for a technically strong, commercially minded Architect or Architectural Technologist who is ready to take ownership of live residential projects and play a leadership role within a highly regarded practice. Our client works with some of Ireland and the UK's leading developers, delivering high-quality housing, apartment and duplex schemes, and this role sits at the heart of that pipeline.

The Role
  • Lead the delivery of residential projects from inception through to completion.
  • Manage projects autonomously with minimal supervision, mentoring junior and mid-level team members.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and contractors.
  • Act as the main client contact point throughout project delivery.
  • Lead technical design, detailing and coordination.
  • Attend site regularly, resolving construction issues and supporting successful delivery.
  • Ensure projects comply with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR requirements and relevant planning conditions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
About You
  • Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 15 years' post-qualification experience.
  • A proven track record delivering residential developments in Ireland; housing, apartments and/or duplex schemes.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of Irish Building Regulations and construction detailing.
  • Experience taking projects through all RIAI work stages to completion.
  • Extensive site experience, including regular attendance during construction and resolving technical issues on live projects.
  • Confident working independently, making informed technical decisions and hitting the ground running.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Experience working directly with Irish developers, consultants and contractors.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
What's On Offer
  • Competitive salary, reflective of experience.
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) support.
  • Professional membership fees paid in full.
  • Bike to Work scheme.
  • Annual company team-building event.
  • The opportunity to take a genuine leadership role on high-profile residential schemes with one of the sector's leading names.
