Associate, ABF Investment Risk Management

Apollo Global Management is looking for an Associate to join their Investment Risk Management team. This role focuses on evaluating and monitoring risk in asset-backed finance, particularly in commercial real estate transactions. The Associate will work closely with deal teams and senior risk officers to ensure alignment with the firm's risk appetite and contribute to a culture of rigorous review.

What You'll Do

• Monitor ongoing portfolio performance and compliance.
• Engage with deal teams to identify and document risk concerns.
• Evaluate European CRE debt transactions and investments.
• Review investment committee memos and prepare risk commentary.

What You Need

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate lending or related fields.
• Strong understanding of CRE credit fundamentals and financial modeling skills.
• Experience reviewing legal documentation and identifying risks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and document analysis effectively.
