Our London office opened in February 2025 and currently is comprised of six lawyers qualified to practise in Japan and England. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a mid level associate to join our corporate practice in the London office.This is a unique opportunity to work closely within a small, collaborative, senior led team, advising on high quality cross border transactions with a strong focus on Japan. The Role You will be involved in a broad range of corporate matters, with a particular focus on cross border M&A and joint ventures. The role primarily involves advising Japanese clients investing in the UK and Europe, as well as assisting European clients making investments in Japan. The position offers early responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to increase your English law expertise with a London based practice that has a genuinely international outlook.
