Assistant Warehouse Manager

Our established client are seeking applications for the position of Warehouse Assistant Manager based in Mayo

WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL BE

• Support Warehouse Manager in all tasks
• Pick and pack customer orders
• Preparation of and participation in stock takes
• Warehouse administration and reporting
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
• Drive company vehicles and operating machinery as required
• Supervise team and provide support, guidance and training to staff
• Initiate changes to current processes in the interest of implementing best practice within the warehouse
• Support your Team/Manager with other duties as required
• Make executive decisions, hold meetings and provide accountability.
• Support ongoing learning and development of team members.
• Carry out ad-hoc work which may not be related to the above, but is required by the company and is achievable by you

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum of 2-3 year's experience in a warehouse role, with one year of team leadership experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must hold a valid driving license
