Assistant Transport Administrator

The Role:

• Working alongside hauliers and suppliers to collect delivery information
• Raising purchase orders for the supply of transport and services
• Data entry, tracking departmental costing and reporting any irregularities
• Collating reports for the Transport Manager
• Filing and general admin duties
• Supporting other members of the transport team during peak volumes and seasonal work

The successful candidate will have: -

• Good organisational and communication skills
• Working well as part of a team
• Work well to strict deadlines and be able to cope under pressure
• A good level of English is an advantage but not a necessity
• Able to work extra hours when required
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
