Assistant Team Manager - Fostering

Pay rate: £41.58 Umbrella / £33 PAYE

Location: Wrexham Council, Wrexham

This role is within the Fostering Service in the Support Hub and involves supporting the team of dedicated Social Workers, ensuring effective day to day functioning of the Service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of committed Social Workers.
• Respond to day to day issues and provide advice, guidance and management oversight to team members as needed.
• Participate in a management duty rota (one day per week).
• Work closely with the friendly management team to ensure effective functioning of the Fostering Service.

Qualifications

• Relevant Social Work qualification.
• Registration with Social Care Wales.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the updated service or willingness to apply.
• Three years' relevant experience.
• Full driving licence with access to a car.
