What you will do

Support the Team Manager in managing the daily operations of the fostering service.

Supervise and support social workers and fostering staff, providing guidance and reflective supervision.

Oversee foster carer assessments, including Form F assessments and panel submissions.

Ensure robust support, supervision, and regular review of foster carers to maintain placement stability.

Contribute to fostering panel processes, including report preparation and attending panels.

Person Specification Qualifications

Hold a degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent).

Evidence of continued professional development.

Registration & Compliance

Must be registered with Social Work England.

Strong knowledge of the Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011, National Minimum Standards for Fostering, and the Children Act 1989.

Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
