Job SummaryThe Domino's Pizza Assistant Store Manager position will assist and deputise for the Store Manager. Assistant Manager will be responsible for running the store in the absence of the Store Manager, providing support to the Store Manager in managing the resources of the store including staff, stock, audits, product quality, marketing initiatives, sales targets and financial management to increase unit sales and capitalise on sales opportunities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- To comply with the operating procedures and service standards of the store whilst managing the payment systems, inventory management, stock control and ordering systems of the store as per the brand standards set by Dominos UK.
- Support the entire team in operations during busy times whilst maintaining and promoting Heightened Time Awareness (HTA) to ensure the store achieves service standards in line with the company's KPIs.
- Train and develop the team according to the company policies and ensure that the team has the knowledge and skill to provide high level service in all aspects of their work. Assist the Store Manager in the recruitment of new employees.
- Managing all aspects of food hygiene, HACCP, ensuring all staff adhere to the requirements and standards laid down by Dominos UK and the local authorities for food handlers.
- Supporting the Store Manager to increase sales, by local store marketing and community involvement ensuring the team are directed and involved in external initiatives.
- Ensure the team is actively upselling to increase the average ticket which in turn increases sales and overall profits.
- Work with the Store Manager to ensure weekly KPI targets (food, labour, average delivery time, OER) are achieved.
- Assist the Store Manager to make sure compliance and regulation records relating to PCI Compliance, GDPR Regulations, Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Fire & CCTV regulations are always available and up to date.

Entry Requirements for the Job- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be flexible and be able to work weekend and evening shifts.
- Must be educated to Higher Secondary School, RQF Level 3, BTEC or A Levels.
- Minimum 6 months experience of working in food environment is essential, preferably in QSR sector.
- Fluent in the English Language (Minimum B1 level).
- Possess good organisational, planning and people management skills.
- Prepared to work under pressure in this rewarding yet physically demanding role.
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Hygiene is essential.
