Assistant Store Manager

Overview

Assistant Store Manager (perm, full-time) - Vans team based in Kildare Village. You will support the Store Manager and contribute to the success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability in synergy with the Store Manager.
• Motivate, mentor, and coach sales associates.
• Assist the Store Manager in implementing established retail processes and seek opportunities to improve them.
• Maintain core retail operational procedures such as inventory and P&L; report performance metrics and use KPIs to improve store results.
• Ensure the store looks aligned with the brand's visual merchandising guidelines.
• Provide cover in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service orientation with a hands on mentality.
• Ability to take initiative when the Store Manager is absent.
• Experience in opening/closing a store, leading and motivating a team, and driving sales and productivity.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
• Flexible availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary.
