Assistant Store Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to partner closely with the Store Manager to develop team members, deliver the best customer service, and communicate UGG's values, vision, and mission.

Summary

Our Assistant Store Managers are integral to our stores' success. They work closely with the Store Manager to develop and engage team members, achieve revenue goals, and maintain high standards of service and training across sales, operations, visual merchandising, inventory management, and store administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Store Manager to align the business with company, employee, and community interests.
  • Develop and engage team members in achieving budgeted revenue goals.
  • Select and retain talent that reflects the UGG brand and its products.
  • Maintain training standards, motivate staff, and address customer and team member needs.
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations: opening/closing, securing assets, labor scheduling, and store security.
  • Act as the Store Manager in their absence.
  • Monitor and respond to industry trends, providing market insight to the team.

  • Ensure highest level of customer service and brand/product knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, staff, management, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Set plans, targets, and delegate appropriately.

  • Identify industry trends and educate the team.
  • Assist in implementing store strategies that enhance satisfaction, traffic, and profitability.
  • Manage inventory and partner with corporate to meet market needs.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a people manager in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey UGG's vision and mission.
  • Strong organizational skills, coordinating people, resources, and services to meet business goals.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to handle challenges.
  • Agility to meet business needs, especially during peak periods.
