Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager may include:

1. Partnering with store leadership to foster a successful sales and performance culture.
2. Supporting a team selling environment.
3. Participating in store recruitment efforts.
4. Teaching, coaching, and training store associates within an established timeframe.
5. Setting achievable yet high goals for the team and ensuring adequate staffing to meet store objectives.
6. Handling employee relations issues in the absence of the Store Manager.
7. Participating in P&L analysis.
8. Leading change initiatives and championing company values.
9. Ensuring proper product merchandising according to company directives.
10. Maintaining safety and security for associates and customers.
11. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, frequent bending, climbing, ladder use, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
