Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: Dublin Airport Red Sky Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading international contractor for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project at Dublin Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior QS to develop their career on a large-scale, high-profile construction project, working alongside an experienced commercial and engineering team. The Role As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing project costs, assisting with valuations, and ensuring the financial performance of the project is maintained. You will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of quantity surveying within a complex and fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with measurement and valuation of works Support the preparation of monthly cost reports and final accounts Monitor and track variations and project costs Liaise with subcontractors and support their commercial management Conduct research, analyse data, and assist in preparing reports Work closely with project managers, engineers, and the wider site team Ensure compliance with project quality and commercial procedures Attend meetings, take notes, and support project coordination Contribute ideas to improve processes and project delivery Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised with good time management Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Eagerness to learn and develop within a commercial role Desirable Previous experience through a placement or internship in construction Exposure to commercial or engineering environments Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001) Why Apply Work on a major infrastructure project Excellent opportunity for career progression and development Gain exposure to a large, experienced project team Competitive salary and package Apply If you are a motivated graduate or junior Quantity Surveyor looking to build your career on a high-profile project, please apply or get in touch for more information
