Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager - Ireland Tradeline have partnered with a shopfitting contractor that is looking to appoint a Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of retail fit-out projects across Ireland and the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial or retail construction who is looking to take on a varied role, working closely with senior management and clients from pre-construction through to project completion. The Role Support the Senior Project Manager with the day-to-day delivery of multiple shopfitting projects. Assist with project planning and coordinate with clients, designers and subcontractors. Help manage project programmes, budgets and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure projects meet health & safety, quality and building regulation requirements. Identify and manage project risks to minimise delays. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project teams. Work alongside senior management to improve processes and support future business growth. Requirements 3+ years' experience in a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager or similar construction role. Experience delivering commercial or retail fit-out/shopfitting projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Strong communication and organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with AutoCAD experience beneficial. Able to work on your own initiative and manage multiple projects. Experience working within the Irish or UK construction market. Fluent English. Spanish language skills would be an advantage but are not essential. Knowledge of retail fire alarm and sprinkler systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
