An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator within the Trauma and Orthopaedic department based at Maidstone Hospital with the need to Cross site.
The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and booking outpatient clinics.
Essential skills for this role include an excellent telephone manner, working using own initiative, excellent communication with patients and clinical staff, outstanding organisation and time management and competent in using Microsoft Office packages with good keyboard skills.
You will have excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills with the ability to work with a positive and solution focused attitude, to ensure clinics are booked effectively and patients are managed appropriately along their pathway.
Clinic appointments and knowledge of patient waiting lists would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
Applicants will ideally have previous NHS or healthcare experience (though this is not necessary) and administration experience. Knowledge of systems such as Allscripts and Medirota would be beneficial though training will be given.
