Job Description
Your mission is to serve as the Deputy Director of Internal Audit at class 23 . The Judiciary is the third branch of power separate from the executive branch, fulfilling its mission independently and having its own regulations. The Law on the Judiciary establishes internal audit as a complement to existing monitoring and oversight mechanisms. The Internal Audit Regulations define its scope across the entire judiciary, excluding the Court of Appeal and the Higher Judicial Council. The Director of Internal Audit reports directly to the Audit Committee; he or she undertakes tasks independently and, in the internal audit department, you will work closely with the director and actively participate in the development and strengthening of this function in the Judiciary. Engage yourself in this high-value mission aimed at objectively assessing: - The management and financial operations of the institution,- The governance processes, steering, control, and risk management,- The processes related to judicial activity,- The functioning of jurisdictions and proposals to enhance their relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency. In this role, you will lead and carry out audit assignments, provide your legal expertise and knowledge of judicial functioning, monitor the implementation of corrective measures, participate in all activities of the internal audit department (audit plan, activity report, quality, etc.), and contribute to positioning internal audit as a prominent profile. Benefiting from a university education in Swiss law (master's level), you have at least three years of professional experience in the judicial field (preferably after obtaining the diploma in a court or ministry), critical thinking, curiosity, analytical and synthesis abilities, and interpersonal skills are qualities recognized in you, and you show a strong interest in all matters not limited to the legal domain. Additionally, you possess a background in auditing; if not, you are motivated to train in this area.
