Assistant Operations Manager

Who We Are

Space Student Accommodation is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in delivering an exceptional resident and guest experience, while ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the building.

This is a hands on role focused on operational excellence across both student living and summer short-term lets, with responsibility for duty management and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the property
• Act as Duty Manager, overseeing daily operations and service delivery
• Deliver a consistently high-quality resident and guest experience
• Drive standards across front of house, housekeeping, and maintenance coordination
• Resolve queries and issues quickly, professionally, and with a customer first approach
• Support summer operations, including short-term lets and building turnaround
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and safety compliance
• Support and guide front line teams to deliver a service led environment

About You

• Experience in operations, hospitality, or student accommodation
• Strong customer experience focus with high attention to detail
• Confident managing day-to-day operations in a fast paced environment
• Proactive, organised, and solutions driven
• Hands on, approachable, and a strong team player
