WHO WE ARE

We are a registered charity dedicated to putting smiles on the faces of local families supporting children or young adults who have additional needs. We provide enriching free family leisure activities in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Bristol.

Family Leisure time is the best way to relieve social isolation and supports the mental and physical wellbeing of all families. It reduces stress, builds relationships, and provides a much needed break from the challenges of everyday life.

We believe that everyone deserves to have the opportunity to enjoy leisure activities, and want to ensure that cost is never the reason you can't try something new. That's why all of our Absolutely Together programmes are free to access for the families we support.

We have 8 sites including Go karting tracks, gyms, climbing & skate park, a golf complex, laser and escape rooms.

The Gym

Absolutely Fitness is a huge 2 story gym located on Easthampstead rd, Bracknell. As part of the Absolutely Together Charity, we offer first rate facilities and all profits go towards putting smiles on faces of children with disabilities. The Bracknell gym includes:

• A huge functional training area
• Large fully equipped Free Weight and Power Lifting areas
• 200+ pieces of equipment
• Fully equipped Boxing Zone
• Work alongside a super friendly gym team who give 100% of their profits to the Absolutely Together charity

Why You?

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Club Manager to join our team part time 30 hours per week with the opportunity to personal train along side. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for helping members achieve their fitness goals. You will be responsible for ensuring that all fitness areas and activities are effectively promoted and managed to exceed member expectations.

Managing Staff

• Ensuring safe adequate levels of staffing for smooth operation of the business.
• Recruiting, training, and line managing site staff including undertaking regular 121s and appraisals.

Operational Leadership

• Producing reports for senior management
• Ensuring health and safety compliance, and complying with legal requirements
• Ensuring gym equipment is maintained and liaising with contractors for swift repairs where necessary
• Leading the team to conduct tours and sell and gym memberships
• Developing marketing ideas and promotions to increase gym and sports sales
• Reviewing monthly Management Profit & Loss accounts
• Completing month end tasks and reports for the finance team.
• Maintain spending levels on staff and purchases to ensure profitability

Front of House

• Often working in a lone working environment, setting up sports equipment, and handling day to day gym enquiries
• Conducting gym inductions and workout programmes
• Conducting tours and selling gym memberships
