£44,000 Package (£31,725 Salary + £13,000 Tronc)

The Role

• As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the pub.
• You'll be a visible leader on the floor, ensuring exceptional service, motivating the team and creating memorable experiences for every guest.
• This is a hands on management role with genuine opportunities for career progression within a successful independent hospitality group.

Responsibilities

• Lead busy lunch and dinner services with confidence.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and consistently high hospitality standards.
• Coach, mentor and develop the front of house team.
• Support recruitment, training and team development.
• Drive sales while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.
• Manage daily operations, cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations.
• Work closely with the kitchen to deliver seamless service.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or experienced Supervisor within a premium pub, gastro pub, restaurant or hotel.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• A proactive, positive attitude with a hands on approach.
• Experience leading high volume service while maintaining exceptional standards.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge.

• £31,725 basic salary
• £13,000 annual tronc
• Total earnings of approximately £44,000
