AS AN ASSISTANT MANAGER, YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• People - Shift managers and crew, leading from the front and being hands on on the line and dining area
• Supporting the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers and fries, store results, and giving an "above & beyond" experience for your team and customers
• Creating an awesome working environment where people are happy to come to work and have fun while leading with our values - Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done, Integrity
• Ensuring every customer is delighted with their order and Five Guys experience - you will deal with complaints promptly, open and honestly
• Ensuring each shift runs as smoothly as possible, with values part of shift management and long term planning
• Full ownership of your P&L - driving sales while controlling costs

• Spotting potential and developing your team to ensure a strong talent pipeline

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Experience - Ideally, at least 1 2 years of management experience in a similar role in a high volume hospitality or QSR environment, knowing what it takes to run a busy shift and keep the energy high
• Customer Satisfaction - Obsessive about the guest experience, with numbers to prove it: track record of driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and consistently delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews
• Financial Responsibility - Experience assisting with P&L management, controlling labour costs and managing inventory/waste to hit profitability targets
• Leadership Skills - Proven track record of leading, coaching and motivating a team, developing people and identifying future talent
• Operational Excellence - Solid understanding of food safety standards, health & safety regulations, maintaining 5 star hygiene ratings
• Flexibility - Available for a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
