Located in Thornton, our home accommodates up to 4 young people aged 8 to 18. It is conveniently situated near Thornton Road with regular bus services and limited on site parking available. Role OverviewWe are recruiting for an Assistant Manager to assist the Registered Children's Homes Manager in providing excellent leadership for our home. This role requires a dedicated, creative, highly professional, and caring individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and experiences for our children.
Responsibilities- Assist the Registered Children's Homes Manager in delivering high quality care and leadership.
- Supervise and support staff in their daily duties.
- Live the values of the home and foster a warm and caring environment for children.
- Support the development of children's life skills and emotional well being.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and meet statutory requirements.
- Level3 or Level4 qualification in Residential Childcare.
- Experience caring for children and young people in a residential or short breaks setting.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the home.
