Assistant Maintenance Manager - Energy from Waste

What will I be doing?

Keeping our Alternative Energy facilities running smoothly is a big job. That's why we need a capable Assistant Maintenance Manager to help STV 1-3 in good working condition and ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations.

• Ensure that all relevant site service contracts are current and comply with SUEZ recycling and recovery policies and procedures.
• Day-to-day management of maintenance activities.
• Develop and support plans for plant outage.
• Provide support, training and guidance to the on-site maintenance planners.

What are the requirements?

This is a varied role for someone with experience in planning large maintenance programmes and a background in either mechanical or electrical engineering, within similar process engineering sector:

• Time served in either Mechanical, E&I or Process Operation disciplines.
• Experience of statutory compliance and contractor management is desirable.
• Experience managing a maintenance team.
• Experience of working within maintenance operations.
• Experience of work planning within critical time and budgetary constraints.
• A Health and Safety qualification is desirable. If you do not have a H&S qualification we can put you through this.
